Airis: since 1984 a landmark for environmental engineering

AIRIS srl has been active on the market since 1984 and since then has always been a point of reference for the generically defined sector of environmental engineering services.

The environment has always been at the center of attention of institutions, companies and citizens. AIRIS professionals , of great competence and technical ability, for over thirty-five years have been committed to finding increasingly effective and technologically advanced solutions to integrate environmental issues in planning and design, using their knowledge and skills not only to meet all regulatory requirements and their evolutions, but also to ensure a sustainable development for the environment.

Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach, AIRIS is able to propose integrated solutions with the best relationship between the effectiveness of the work and compatibility with the environment for an environmentally conscious design. AIRIS offers qualified advice to companies, public bodies and private individuals: its dynamic and flexible structure integrates skills and specificity, in order to guarantee the highest quality standards for its clients.

The offer diversifies know-how and technical skills in four main areas: Ecological Planning, Environmental Studies, Sustainable Design, Monitoring and Testing, with particular regard to those issues of current interest and attention, such as:

  • Sustainable building design; supporting companies, bodies and designers for the application of the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) of the environmental and energy certification protocols, such as LEED and CasaClima;
  • On-site monitoring, certifications and tests of the built environment, carrying out checks for the environmental management of the construction site, tests and energy and performance certification of the building envelope (for example blower door test, thermo-camera, passive acoustic requirements);
  • Environmental assessments using the ecosystem services approach, with the aim of providing economic value of the “multiple benefits provided by ecosystems to mankind”;
  • Territorial analysis and environmental monitoring carried out through environmental and energy modelling (traffic, noise, air), mobile laboratories, instrumentation for monitoring and testing activities also through the use of APR (drones).

In 2016 AIRIS obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification by Bureau Veritas Italia S.p.A. for the quality management system in the field of application “Environmental consulting, design and monitoring services for the private sector and public administration”.
